Alien Rescue

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to not just watch a movie, but to experience it, from inside the world of the story? Alien Rescue combines aspects of immersive virtual reality, cinematic storytelling, live theater, video games, and role playing in order to give you an experience like nothing you have ever had before. In Alien Rescue, there is no ‘audience’; everyone plays a role, with five professional actors leading the way during this live, seventy minute sci-fi action/adventure. Play as the Hero or tag along as a Sidekick: either way, it’s an experience you will never forget!

Alien Rescue runs on weekends on the NeosVR metaverse platform. You can experience Alien Rescue alone, but it’s even more fun with friends. All you need is PCVR like the Vive, Index, Quest 2 with AirLink, etc OR a Desktop PC (to play in Desktop Mode). Tickets are inexpensive: Hero tickets are $30, and Sidekick tickets $10. All sales support our project and help us keep running shows!

When we run our live performances, we also live stream to twitch.tv using our extra-cool VR Multicam System. This means our Twitch audience sees more than just a POV: our broadcast director switches between 10 camera angles to create a “live movie stream” that feels very cinematic. AND, our Twitch viewers can type commands into Chat which trigger in-game sound effects, which they can use to terrify the Heroes, Sidekicks and Cast!
