Beeline "Sofa"

"Sofa" was one of two spots I shot during a three week run in Russia working for BBDO Moscow. These were pretty big jobs and it took a small army of us to pull them off. The creatives were incredibly smart and knew as much or more about American film and pop culture than I did. I was very happy to have the opportunity to work with cinematographer Pavel Kapinos who is a huge DP with a ton of excellent features under his belt. Workshop Russia provided our crew and ran a very efficient and creative production. We had all the requisite challenges to overcome: animals (always!), visual effects, big sets to build, a tight schedule to shoot, and a large cast. Everything came together very nicely, but I got my share of beet soup on that job and won't be ordering it again any time soon.
