I've been aware of this organization for a while, and recently I submitted an application to join. Today I got this wonderful letter welcoming me. Organizations like AIXR bring together members of the greater VR community to share knowledge, network, and importantly: to meet and discuss the pressing issues of the industry. In addition to monthly meetups, AIXR also offers members a whole suite of other benefits: research articles, whitepapers, online education, fundraising advice, etc. I encourage anyone in the VR community to check them out, and I can't wait to start participating.
