Brad Baker and his company Odyssey Marine Exploration, have found and recovered hundreds of millions of dollars of gold and silver from the deep sea. Beyond that, recent discoveries have lead to mining projects worldwide that will be environmentally better and provide resources for future generations. In this brief talk, he shares the excitement of exploration, as well as some of the promise.

Mr. Baker serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Odyssey Marine Exploration (NASDAQ:OMEX), and also as CEO of Nexus Biometrics, Inc., a fingerprint biometrics company he founded in 2004. He is also President of Bramar Developers, Inc., a real estate development company he founded in 1998. In addition to his business roles, Mr. Baker has served in the public sector.

In 1988 Mr. Baker was appointed by President Ronald Reagan as one of the youngest White House Fellows ever. In 1989 he was appointed Corporate Secretary of the new Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) by George H.W. Bush, established to reorganize the thrift banking industry. Mr. Baker served alongside Alan Greenspan, Nicolas Brady, and Jack Kemp. In 1999, he was tapped by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush to serve as Executive Director of the Florida Housing Finance Corporation, responsible for granting almost $1 billion to promote affordable housing. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Nova University.
